Joshua
By Jen Wilkin
Facilitator: Julie Dietl
Length: 10 Weeks
The book of Joshua chronicles God’s continuing faithfulness to fulfill His covenant promises to Abraham. It is a book of transitions, in which Joshua rises to leadership and the people of God step across the Jordan into the long-awaited land of promise. The task of possessing the land will test the limits of their strength and their courage, but God’s covenant will not fail them. And Joshua’s faithful example will whisper toward the perfect faithfulness of Christ Himself.
In this 10-session, verse-by-verse study of the book of Joshua, Jen Wilkin helps us see how God’s commands, though sometimes difficult, are always rooted in His steadfast love for His people. Israel’s story is our story. We battle not against flesh and blood as they did, but we courageously war against the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil, trusting in the finished work of the true and better Joshua, Jesus Christ.
Live Free: A Study of Galatians
By Elizabeth Woodson
Facilitator: Judy Huffman
Length: 8 Weeks
We long for peace, to have lives marked by freedom from difficulty and pain. We look to countless places to fill this need--our possessions, relationships, intellect, spirituality, political affiliations, and so on. But, by relying on these things for freedom, we unintentionally make them our savior instead of Christ. This exchange leaves us enslaved to a false gospel and to the very things we hoped would set us free.
Empower Fitness
Facilitator: Erica Bound
Length: TBD
Empower Fitness is about empowering women of all ages to strive for freedom in all areas of health through a unique fitness environment.
Each class is designed to help women push one another, hold one another accountable, learn, and enjoy a fulfilling and challenging fitness experience.
The Empower Fitness class will include a weekly 45 min full body workout and conclude with Bible focused discussion and study on a woman’s identity in Christ and how to navigate all aspects of being a godly woman.
Required Equipment: Exercise mat, water bottle, weights. (Talk to Erica if you do not own any weights/kettlebells)
Psalm 23
By Jennifer Rothschild
Facilitator: Kim Walters
Length: 7 Weeks
Many women know Psalm 23 by heart but haven't experienced its power in their lives. This beloved psalm can breathe new life into women who are weary and unsure of their next steps. It's more than a psalm that comforts in death; it gives confidence in life.
In this 7-session study by Jennifer Rothschild, gain fresh insight and encouragement from Psalm 23. Explore the depths of God's compassionate care while debunking the self-reliance myth. Learn how your vulnerability is not a liability because you can trust the Shepherd's goodness throughout each season of life.
The Mission of God’s People
By Christopher J. H. Wright
Facilitator: Sharon L
Note: This study will coincide with “Continuing Christ’s Mission” found below.
In The Mission of God's People, Wright argues that having a strong biblical theology that shapes our thinking and behavior must be in place before answering the call of the Great Commission. Wright first steps back and answers some of the biggest questions of God's story and our place within it.
Continuing Christ’s Mission
By Robert S. Chambers
Facilitator: Sharon L
Note: This study coincides with “The Mission of God’s People” found above.
Go into all the world and preach the Gospel. That was the Great Commission of 2,000 years ago, but is it still viable in today’s politically correct world of religious diversity? In Continuing Christ’s Mission, author Robert S. Chambers makes the case for Christian evangelism in the twenty-first century addressing obstacles and outlining new opportunities for sharing the Gospel and equipping Christians to become ambassadors for Christ.
Precept Upon Precept: Exodus
Facilitator: Lisa Kolwalski
Length: 9 Weeks
Watch Moses develop as a leader. See God deliver His people by judging their enemies. Learn powerful truths about His ways. A remarkably practical study of deliverance, redemption, the Law, and the Tabernacle.
Tuesday PM Classes

The Way of Wisdom: A Study of the Book of Proverbs
By Jen Wilkin, Kelly Minter, Ruth Simons, Adrienne Camp, Elizabeth Woodson, Courtney Doctor
Facilitator: Barbara Lee
Length: 8 Weeks
Location: Room 351
The book of Proverbs describes godly wisdom as a path that leads to life and flourishing. It also warns of the folly of worldly wisdom as a path that leads to the grave. Every day we face the choice between the true riches of God’s instruction or the fool’s gold of earthly pleasures and pursuits. How often do we call to mind the wisdom found in the sayings of Proverbs to shed light on the path before us? How relevant do we even believe these ancient words are to our modern world?
